Events in English
ARX järjestää vuosittain useita lastentapahtumia, kuten ARXantaita ja Lasten lauantai -tapahtumia. Kaikki tapahtumat ovat pääsymaksuttomia. Lisäksi järjestämme useamman päivän festivaaleja. ARXin tapahtumat on suunnattu lapsille ja lapsiperheille. Tapahtumissa pääset kokemaan monenlaista taidetta ja tekemään itse. Lisäksi osallistumme erilaisiin teemaviikkoihin ja tapahtumiin.

Hippalot on monitaiteinen lasten taidefestivaali. Tutustu ohjelmaan:

ARX juhlii Hämeenlinnan Taiteiden yötä Lasten puutarhalla ja Galleria ARXin Tarinasoppaa -näyttelyssä. Ohjelma täydentyy myöhemmin.
Tapahtuma on maksuton.
Musiikkileikkihetket Tarinasoppaa -näyttelyssä 10.30, 12.30, 14. Vetäjinä kuvittaja ja kirjailija Sari Airola ja muusikko Mari Kätkä.

Kekri-ARXantaita vietetään 25.10. Verkatehtaan alueella. Kekri-ARXantai on maksuton koko perheen tapahtuma, jossa riittää tekemistä kaikenikäisille.
Kekri-ARXantaissa työpajaillaan perunahahmoja juureksilla, jotka myös pääsevät laulamaan. Galleria ARXissa Juhlat-työpajassa voi osallistua Valoilmön taideteoksen tekemiseen. Verkatehtaankujalla Osmo Liikanen esiintyy didgeridoolla ja muilla perinnesoittimilla. Metsänpeitossa -tarinakonsertti Verstas-näyttämöllä klo 18 ja 19 (paikkoja rajoitetusti). Lasten puutarhalla pidetään naurisolympialaiset, ja Taidemuseon pihassa puolestaan leikitään perinneleikkejä. Taidemuseon omassa työpajassa Lohrmann-rakennuksessa tehdään paperisia naamioita.
Kujan kahvilakojua ylläpitää Ortelan vanhempainyhdistys ja 6. luokka. Tuomelan eskarit myyvät koruja.
Tapahtumassa seikkailee muinaisia emuuita. Löydätkö viisi erilaista?
Tapahtuma on maksuton koko perheelle, tekemistä riittää kaikenikäisille.

Rakennamme yhteisöllisesti valon juhlia Valoilmiö-festivaaliin. Tule rakentamaan kanssamme valoteoksia Juhliin. Lapset osallistuvat työpajaan yhdessä oman aikuisen kanssa.

Events
ARX hosts a variety of annual events for families, such as ARXantais and Children’s Saturdays, all free of charge. We also organize multi-day festivals. These events are tailored for children and families, providing a wide range of artistic experiences and opportunities to get creative. Additionally, we participate in various themed weeks and community events throughout the year.
We welcome you to participate in the events and activities even if you don´t speak Finnish.
Children’s Art Festival Hippalot is a four day event full of arts and culture for the whole family. Programme:

ARX celebrates Taiteiden yö (The Nigh of the Arts) at Children’s Garden and in Tarinasoppaa Exhibition at Galleria ARX. Full programme will be posted later.
The event is free of charge.
Kekri-ARXantai event will brighten up Verkatehdas area again in the autumn darkness.
At the potato basement you can create quirky potato characters using root vegetables—and you can make them sing. In Galleria ARX, the Juhlat workshop invites you to contribute to the Valoilmö –festival art installation.
On Verkatehtaankuja, Osmo Liikanen will perform using a didgeridoo and other traditional instruments. The Metsänpeitossa story concert takes place at the Verstas stage at 6 PM and 7 PM (limited seating available).
At the Children’s Garden, take part in the turnip Olympics, and in the yard of the Art Museum, enjoy traditional games. Inside the Lohrmann building, the museum’s own workshop will guide you in making paper masks.
The café stall on the street is run by the Ortela Parent Association and 6th graders, while Tuomela preschoolers will be selling handmade jewelry.
Ancient emu spirits will be roaming the event—can you find five different ones?
The event is free and open to the whole family, with activities for all ages.
Welcome!
We are building community-driven celebrations of light for the Valoilmiö Festival. Come and create light installations with us for the festivities. Children participate in the workshop together with their own adult.
The workshop is free of charge.

ARXantai-tapahtumat ovat maksuttomia koko perheen lauantaitapahtumia. ARXantaiden ohjelmat koostuvat teemanmukaisista työpajoista, näyttelyistä, teatteriesityksistä ja konserteista. Ohjelma soveltuu pienille ja isoille, aikuisia unohtamatta.

ARXantai events are free Saturday events for the whole family. The ARXantai programs consist of themed workshops, exhibitions, theater performances, and concerts. The program is suitable for both young and old, without forgetting the adults.
